DiCaprio & Scorsese Return to the Big Screen
Following the success of The Wolf of Wall Street in 2013, Leonardo DiCaprio is reuniting with Martin Scorsese for yet another film. Working together for the sixth time, the actor is set to play a serial killer in The Devil in the White City, an adaptation of Erik Larson’s 2003 novel. The plot is based on the true story of two American men, murderer HH Holmes and architect Daniel H Burnham, at the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair.
DiCaprio purchased rights for the film in 2010, with screenplay to be written by Billy Ray (The Hunger Games, Captain Phillips).
