Leonardo DiCaprio & Tom Hardy Talk Bobby Shmurda Line in “The Revenant”

Bobby, are you listening?

If you didn’t watch the Golden Globes, The Revenant picked up a handful of awards in different categories. The film won Best Motion Picture, Leonardo DiCaprio won Best Performance by An Actor in a Motion Picture and Alejandro G. Iñárritu won for Best Director.

Scott Carty sat down with both Leo and Tom Hardy to talk to them about the making of the film, the conditions they had to endure during their shoots and in the midst of their conversation, they dropped a little gem on the people. As they were talking about the scene where DiCaprio was being buried alive (sorry for the spoiler if you haven’t watched), Tom turned to Leo and casually mentioned a line was left on the cutting room floor. The line in question was “shut your trap house,” which is a reference to Bobby Shmurda. The two sounded disappointed it didn’t happen.

Imagine these two cruising down La Brea with the top down blasting Shmurda She Wrote?

Give them the Oscar.
