Iconic denim brand, Levi’s Vintage clothing department pays respect to Detroit and the 1960’s birth of Motown records, one of the first African-American owned record labels in the world. Levi’s decided to channel the 60’s essence of the city, giving us the “Boom Town Collection” which they put together a variety of pieces inspired by the fashion heads and trendsetters of the past. The offering features jackets, shirts, accessories, and of course bottoms.
In light of the Holiday 2013 ‘Boom Town’ Collection, Levi’s put a short film showing us the origin of the Motown era and some of the legendary artist such as Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye, The Supremes, and more. The Boom Town collection is available now over the Levi’s online shop.
Check out images of the collection below, and peep the short film after the jump.
