With Apple, Google and Intel just now stepping into the realm of Virtual and Augmented reality, Lucasfilm has shared some important news with a public introductory video to its subsidiary technology company, ILMxLab. In the past, ILMxLab created the first computer generated actor in Terminator 2: Judgment Day, as well as those dinosaurs you were frightened by 20 years ago in the original Jurassic Park.
From the Avengers series, Captain America, and Pirates of the Caribbean, the San Francisco-based company is readying plans to showcase the latest breathtaking technology later this year with Star Wars: The Force Awakens arrives this holiday season.
