Marvel’s Luke Cage SDCC Teaser
Last March, Netflix debuted the first trailer for their buzzing series, Luke Cage. The show, which is a spin-off from the Jessica Jones series, sees Mike Colter reprising his role for the solo affair.
However, unlike the downtown area we met Mr. Cage in through Ms. Jones, Luke heads uptown for a more urbanized setting previously mentioned. Above, with a little extra dialogue added this time before an official trailer makes a splash, Marvel Entertainment shows us why the world is ready for a bulletproof black man – where he even jokes “I’m about sick of always having to buy new clothes.”
With the Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s classic “Shimmy Shimmy Ya” serving as the them track this time around, take a look at Luke fucking up the streets of Harlem, to make sure them blocks are safe.
Look for Marvel’s Luke Cage to hit Netflix this September 30th.
