Marvel is going all-out with series on Netflix now, and it’s no surprise after the success of Daredevil. As promised, Marvel have released the official trailer for its next show, Luke Cage.
The all-new trailer throws us right into the action of Mike Colter as Luke Cage, soundtracked by Isaac Hayes’ “Walk on By” and Run the Jewels’ remix of Miike Snow’s “Heart Is Full.” Rosario Dawson is everywhere as she reprises her role as a nurse in Hell’s Kitchen from Daredevil. Based on this trailer, the last teaser soundtracked by Ol’ Dirty Bastard and knowing that the score is handled by Adrian Younge and Ali Shaheed Muhammad, we can’t wait to watch this one.
The first season will hit Netflix September 30th, also starring the likes of Alfre Woodard, Mahershala Ali, Sônia Braga, Theo Rossi and Simone Missick.
