Welcome to the movie that might sweep the awards at next year’s Oscars (at least it appears that way by the trailer). Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom is the story of Nelson Mandela, played by Idris Elba, and will chronicle his entire life, from his childhood in the rural village to his anti-apartheid revolution and his journey to becoming the first democratically elected black president of South Africa.
We know you’re going to be super hype for the film after you watch the trailer because Idris seems to have really killed his part. No release date for the movie as of yet.
