The age of the television series continues to triumph with some of the biggest casts and directors in the business, and Netflix is at the heart of it all. Emma Stone and Jonah Hill are set to star in Maniac, an all-new series directed by Cary Fukunaga, the man in charge of True Detective season one and Beasts of No Nation.
A remake of the 2014 Norwegian series of the same name, the dark comedy follows the story of psych ward patient Epsen, who enters a fantasy world where he can achieve anything he wants.
The 10-episode season is coming soon to Netflix. This will be Emma Stone and Jonah Hill’s first time on screen together since Superbad back in 2007.
