“I SAID JEROME IN THE HOUSE! WATCH YA MOUTH!”

You can’t talk to Martin Lawrence and not bring up classic episodes and characters from the Martin show that were your favorite. That’s precisely what Jimmy Fallon did when Lawrence visited The Tonight Show yesterday. He brought up Jerome and even had him do the impersonation for old time’s sake, including the dance he did when he walked in the room.

He also spoke a bit about father hood and how he made his oldest daughter (she’ll be attending Duke University in the Fall) watch his stand-up comedy special You So Crazy once she turned 18, but between her and his youngest, they don’t watch the TV show as much, because of Disney and other shows on television.

Lawrence was there to talk about his upcoming TV show starring opposite Kelsey Grammar on FX called Partners, which will be about them being a pair of Chicago lawyers. Considering the dynamic and how different those two are, it should generate laughs.
