Marvel’s ‘Black Panther’ Mother of T’Challa Revealed

With Marvel Studios, aggressively continuing efforts in ensuring Phase Three of their cinematic universe remains on track, we get more news for the upcoming Black Panther film.

The project, which serves as sequels to Avengers: Age of Ultron and Captain America: Civil War, has already seen a large cast reveal thus far of: Michael B. Jordan, Forest Whitaker, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Daniel Kaluuya, Winston Duke and Florence Kasumba.

However, this week, the comic company has announced that legendary actress, Angela Bassett has joined the cast to play mother of T’Challa, Ramonda. This will mark her first appearance in the Marvel Universe, as the film is still slated for a February 16, 2018 release.
