Suicide Squad
The most-anticipated release of all the films releasing this year is the DC Comics imminent blockbuster release of Suicide Squad. Unlike the others which feature protagonist good guys, the Warner Bros. presentation features a collection of antiheroes you’ll be cheering for.
With Will Smith starring as Deadshot, Margot Robbie assuming the role of Harley Quinn and Jared Leto creating on-screen magic as the first of many appearances we can expect to see him in as Joker, Suicide Squad is DC’s alternative to The Avengers and Civil War. Whether or not Warner will be successful in generating buzz for the masses to come out like its competitors remains to be seen; but an appearance from The Dark Knight and others within the DC Film Universe could have the super-villains looking past the idea of risking their lives beyond this initial release.
Look for Suicide Squad to invade theaters on August 5, 2016.
