In theaters May 5th!
Tuesday night on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Marvel Studios granted the world with the final trailer for their upcoming film, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Much like previous teases of the project, we see Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, and Groot through various action and personal scenes.
However, we’re finally introduced to a new a character to the franchise – Star-Lord’s dad, played by Kurt Russell. Ego is first shown, standing next to their long-time friend and affiliate, Mantis.
With Peter Quill’s true parentage mystery finally solved, we’re assuming, the Guardians still have a major mission to complete; before the head off to star in Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War in 2018. Take a look at the trailer above and look for Guardians 2 in IMAX and theaters on May 5th.
