Meet the new alien, MANTIS!
Remember Marvel Entertainment’s Guardians of the Galaxy 2? While the comic-book company has been gearing up for a public introduction of its second volume, they’ve green-lighted plans to introduce their new team-member, Mantis. Above, in its first official concept art, we get a look at the entire roster of Guardians everybody has fell in love with – including baby Groot.
Mantis, who has never experienced social interaction, due to reasons beyond her control, must learn how to handle dealing with people – through watching how her peers conduct everyday affairs.
With filming official concluding just a few weeks ago, look for a potential teaser trailer to arrive by the year’s end, before Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 hits theaters on May 5, 2017.
