If Marvel really does this, the weekend of March 25th will be goat!
Two years ago, Marvel Entertainment made the bold announcement they were planning to release Captain America: Civil War on the same day as Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, May 6, 2016.
At the time, DC Comics was under the impression that it was just another main entry in the Captain America series. Soon after the world learned details about Civil War with Steve Rogers and Tony Stark having a similar battle, Warner Bros. decided to move Dawn of Justice up to March.
Now, with the upcoming mysterious release of Daredevil Season 2 being held secret by both Netflix and Marvel, an independent source at ComicBook.com has revealed that Matthew Murdock will be challenging both Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne this spring. With Phrase 3 in place for Marvel, DC felt confident to have the date of March 25, 2016 to themselves, initially. However, Netflix may be taking some steam away from their rival’s biggest week of the decade – if this rumor holds true.
