Get ready for ‘The Defenders’ in 2017!
Last week at Netflix panel in Paris, Charlie Cox was asked on the direction for third season of the live-action series, Daredevil. Without thinking, Cox accidentally revealed the recently announced superhero team-up show, The Defenders would begin filming before the year’s end.
The series stars Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist, who will be introduced to the streaming platform next year for its freshman year. During the panel, Cox went to say “What we do know is at the end of this year we’re going to be making The Defenders and Daredevil is very much a part of that foursome. I have no idea what the story line is going to be for that show. I’m very excited to see how those world’s combine, and interested to see tonally how those shows become one.”
With Luke Cage set to premiere this September 30th and the digital platform still quiet on its inevitable roll-out for Iron Fist, look for more details regarding The Defenders in the coming months.
