The first trailer for Mississippi Grind has been revealed, directed by filmmaking duo Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck (Half Nelson, It’s Kind of a Funny Story).
The story is based around a gambler named Gerry (Ben Mendelsohn) going through rough times, who teams up with younger money-maker Curtis (Ryan Reynolds) to help change his luck. In doing so, they travel across the state to win back his money, hitting up everything from casinos to dog races.
Sienna Miller, Analeigh Tipton and Alfre Woodard also star in the movie, in theaters September 25th.
