The secret is out of the bag! A source familiar with the 2015 NFL Super Bowl Halftime Show told AP today after Katy Perry‘s press conference, that Missy Elliot would be the surprise guest at the big game. She is the second act that has been chosen by Katy to rock with her on Sunday, with the first being Lenny Kravitz. With this new addition, things are bound to get even bigger.
Mrs. Perry hinted at who it could be when she met with the media earlier:
“I wanted to bring someone back. A throwback of sorts that definitely needed some more shine. All I can say is it will be a real female fun night. It’s a bit old school. When this person enters the stage and you hear the first ring of the chord I think jaws will drop and faces will melt.”
Now we know Misdemeanor will be rocking the stage. Maybe even Timbaland too? Either way, we can’t wait to see what she brings to the table after being on hiatus for so long.
