Sicario
Another gem hitting the big screen tonight is mystery-crime film, Sicario. Following its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival last spring, the project stars the likes of Emily Blunt, Benicio del Toro, and Josh Brolin. The film focuses on the Mexico war against drugs, as FBI agent Kate Macer receives a top assignment from the U.S. Government to locate a cartel boss, Julio Cesar Cedillo.
Backed by special weapons and tactics teams for the life threatening border fight, Kate only has one chance to track down the anonymous drug lord in the male-dominated profession. Surprisingly, this film has received some of the better reviews throughout the year, and a familiar cast could push its box office revenue higher than expected in opening week.
