The first and only blockbuster film releasing this fall may very well be the Nightcrawler. The upcoming crime-thriller film was one of the standout features premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival last January and finally makes its nationwide theatrical release tonight. Starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Rene Russo, Riz Ahmed, and Bill Paxton, the new release servers as Dan Gilory’s directorial debut if you’re looking for a crime-thriller with pulse-pounding non-stop action, then look no further than the release above. Jake Gyllenhaal assumes the role of Lou Bloom, a young Los Angeles man desperate for any chance of making a living a living.
Unfortunately at the cost of his own lively hood, he soon unravels the dark underworld of LA crime through dangerous night crawling. Thus far, its surpassed expectations for entertainment value among the masses and is being targeted to finish – and could be a choice for most casual observers recognizing the film on name value alone.
