Money Monster
George Clooney and Julia Roberts are finally reunited once again, but instead of a romantic affair, the two are featured in thriller project, Money Monster. The NYC-based effort centers on Lee Gates, a financial TV personality, who is held hostage by a viewer by the name of Kyle Budwell. Following a bad stock tip from Lee during his show, this prompted Budwell to commit the crime in live TV.
With his entire bank account empty, the irate investor only has a limited amount of time before the situation is compromised with authorities. We’re not sure how well this will do in the box offices, but it has the A-list actors to at least get casual attendees to give it a second look.
