Meet the Blacks
With a cast of Mike Epps, Gary Owen, Zulay Henao, Lil Duval, Bresha Webb, George Lopez and Mike Tyson, Meet the Blacks is one of the more interesting releases for the second quarter. For those of you who haven’t seen movie previews during every commercial break on TV, the new 90-minute piece centers on a man named Carl Black who looks for a change of scenery from the streets of Chicago. Along with his family now located in Beverly Hills, all-crime becomes legal for a 12-hour period – creating complete anarchy. If you didn’t notice, the movie is parody of the 2013 film, The Purge, as Mr. Black may have been safer hustling in the hoods of his hometown – than seeing some of the craziness in nice area of Los Angeles.
