Here’s what’s new on the big screen tonight!
Last weekend, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was officially dethroned by Melissa McCarthy and her new comedy, The Boss. The film recouped its original budget of $30 million for the opening week, which will likely see a sequel if it keeps consistent ticket tales.
However, we’re sure Warner Bros. didn’t expect their biggest release of the year to only remain on the throne for two weeks, as Bruce Wayne and whatever was left of Clark Kent were sent fishing earlier. Speaking of which, with the NBA Playoffs set to begin tomorrow, the theaters offer a healthy dosage of providing a variety of genres movie goers can enjoy for the next 72 hours.
