The Huntsman: Winter’s War
For respectable reasons, The Huntsman: Winter’s War is drawing some comparisons to HBO’s Game of Thrones, which is set to return in under 48 hours. Luckily, the action-fantasy film is seeing the return of its original fan base from the 2012 film, Snow White and the Huntsman, and has already acquired $1 million in box office revenue over the last 24 hours.
With a cast of Chris Hemsworth, Charlize Theron, Nick Frost and Sam Claflin returning to reprise their roles, the members are joined by the likes of Emily Blunt, Rob Brydon and Jessica Chastain. The new sequel centers on sisters Ravenna and Freya, who develop a new rivalry that escalates out of control. Soon, Eric and fellow warrior Sara, members of the Huntsmen are called upon to protect Freya from Ravenna’s wicked intentions.
While this battle of good vs. evil is intriguing enough for previews viewers of its predecessor four years ago, new cast members should be the icing on the cake to debut on the box office charts Monday morning.
