Hardcore Henry
Since seeing the original trailer for Hardcore Henry last year, we’ve been eagerly anticipating the release of this stand-out film. Unfortunately, critics haven’t been too kind to the fantasy-science fiction film, but that doesn’t mean fans won’t be entertained for the 90-minute presentation.
Set entirely in the first-person perspective (like a shooter video game), the film stars Sharlto Copley, Danila Kozlovsky, Haley Bennett, and Tim Roth. Without ruining too much of the plot, a man by the name of Henry is resurrected from death with no memory and must discover his identity.
Luckily, movie goers will see the entire revelation through the eyes on Henry (hence first-person), as he’ll have to save his wife from a warlord with a plan to bio-engineer soldiers. Whether or not he’s successful in stopping this evil intention, as well as rescuing his wife, Henry’s after-life experience on earth is something we’ll be wanting to see this month.
