‘Suicide Squad’ a lock for another week at no. 1?
Last weekend, Suicide Squad opened to a $133 million first 72 hours, which became the highest grossing August release in history. With Jason Bourne seeing a significant drop in revenue for its second week and Star Trek Beyond officially becoming a box office flop, there’s a slew of new releases that are on track to take up some of the movie market share.
This weekend, we’re granted a large amount of indie-films, along with one major R-rated animated movie that many have been waiting for over the past few months.
