Blood Father
Given his recent sporadic behavior in recent years, Mel Gibson is quietly sneaking back into the movie world. The veteran actor stars in the new action thriller film, Blood Father, which was originally a standout last spring at the Cannes Film Festival. Mel assumes the role of John Link, who’s an ex-con looking to reunite with his estranged daughter, Lydia.
However, in the midst of rekindling a relationship with his 16-year-old daughter, she gets into trouble with some drug dealers that want her head. This lead to Mr. Link going all out to protect his daughter – at any cost. We’re not sure how this limited release will perform in the cinemas, but a video-on-demand order would be our likely destination.
