Nearly thirty years from breaking into the mainstream of music and being one of the pioneers for West Coast rap music, the legendary Southern Los Angeles collective N.W.A. finally gets to tell their story to the world. With original group members Dr. Dre and Ice Cube serving as producers from the film, the entire story of their rise and breakup is told – including a glimpse into life in their hood and changing the face of hip-hop with their Compton tales. Whether you know the story of The World’s Most Dangerous or not isn’t a question if you should go out and see the film; but this theatrical release is historic for any hip-hop fan to not miss out on. Dr. Dre went to say the film was so great, that he got in the music making mood this year to create his final album, Compton. If you have to ask yourself whether to go out and support the movie this weekend, please rearrange your priorities.
