Final Girl
Much like a few of the previously mentioned films arriving to theaters this weekend, we have another limited releases. However, Final Girl will still be available to everyone with video-on-demand this weekend, as the new action-thriller is developing a bit of a buzz leading up to the next 72 hours. New girl in town, Veronica, initially seems like a selfless innocent girl from her fellow high-school classmates.
But after being lured into the woods in an attempt to make her their victim, the collective of boys soon find out Veronica is highly trained at protecting herself against any dangerous attacks. Before her hunting season begins for a blonde who wasn’t able to protect herself, Veronica essentially becomes a complete weapon with the help of a comrade until she’s the age of 18. If you’re all caught up with theatrical releases, this 90-minute drama-thriller wouldn’t hurt to at least give a second look this weekend.
