Touched with Fire
Without the comedy, rom-com fans should be intrigued to take a glimpse at arguably the second best new release hitting theaters tonight, Touched with Fire. Originally premiered at last year’s South by Southwest Film Festival, the new effort stars Katie Holmes, Luke Kirby, Christine Lahti, Griffin Dunne and Bruce Altman. While there’s an obvious love attraction between a pair of individuals set to occur, how they meet is rather unusual. Marco and Carla cross paths at a psychiatric hospital, which they’re both suffering as manic depressives. However, their romance soon brings out the beauty (and horror) of their conditions. If you’re looking for something original among the fellow films out this month, these are some mania days you may not want to miss out on.
We just wish it was simultaneous video-on-demand release.
