13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi
When we normally see John Krasinski, the first thing that pops up into our minds is Michael Scott and the beloved Pamela. While the former star of The Office may longer be on the small screen, he transitions his talents to the new drama-thriller film, 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi. Paramount Pictures has surprisingly invested $50 million into the project, which centers on the 2012 Benghazi attack. During the eleventh anniversary of September 11th, an American diplomatic compound nearby a CIA Annex in Libya is attacked by a group of Islamic militants.
A collective of veterans from the Navy SEALS, Army Special Forces and Marine Force Recon are contacted to rescue those hurt by the surprise strike in Libya. With the American Ambassador and his staff trapped within the diplomatic compound, the story of 13 hours remains a mystery whether it’ll be successful in the box offices.
