The Boy
If you remember watching a trailer for The Inhabitant last year, the film has been repackaged in 2016 as The Boy. Starring Lauren Cohan, the supernatural horror project focuses on a girl named Greta, who is now stationed in the United Kingdom as a nanny. Following her arrival to the UK, Greta soon learns she has to care after a life-sized porcelain doll for a couple who is still grieving with the death of their young son. While the job may not be what she wanted, the weekly pay is beneficial and she ignores the strict list of rules the parents have left her. However, at some point, Greta soon comes to realization that doll may actually be alive, which should be evident during the opening minutes of the motion picture. We’re not sure whether this Chucky-like project will generate buzz for casual movie goers, the horror-thriller audience will be in for a treat this January.
