If you didn’t know, YouTube’s rollout of their RED service goes beyond just music and video streaming – the company has plans to tap into the mainstream theatrical world. With their new film Lazer Team and its awkward plot of four losers salving the world from an alien crash, their plans seem more believable than this hilarious science fiction action comedy hitting the big screen tonight. Shocking, the indy-film festival standout has garnered enough momentum this winter to possibly overachieve at the theaters for the next 72 hours. We just wish a simultaneous release to video-on-demand was granted.
