The Legend of Tarzan
We’re still lost if The Legend of Tarzan is going to bank big at the box offices this weekend. With many people looking to hit the beaches and enjoy their fourth, Warner Bros. nearly $200-million budgeted film could potentially underperform. Luckily for W.B., they have a cast of familiar names who should have enough intrigue to convince movie goers to give it a second look.
Starring Alexander Skarsgård, Samuel L. Jackson, Margot Robbie, Djimon Hounsou, Jim Broadbent and Christoph Waltz – the film centers on the self-proclaimed king of the jungle, of course, as he’s living a changed life in normal society.
However, an event back home in the jungle, causes him to leave his new surroundings of London and return to his homeland for an investigation in Congo. With his wife Jane in danger due to Leon Rom looking to assume the reins of King, Tarzan must save the woman who he truly loves.
