The Purge: Election Year
With an election year currently going on, The Purge series returns tonight with the third installment of the popular social science fiction action horror franchise. Starring Frank Grillo, Elizabeth Mitchell, Mykelti Williamson, Betty Gabriel, Edwin Hodge, Kyle Secor, Joseph Julian Soria and Liza Colón-Zayas – The Purge: Election Year follows up the events exactly two years prior, when Sergeant Barnes decided to not kill his son. However, now a former policeman and new head of security for Senator Charlene Roan, his sole purposes is to make sure he eliminates the threat of the Purge. Surprisingly, this film has received favorable to mixed reviews, but with little promotion seen from our end, we just hope this one doesn’t go under the radar.
