The heart of summer is in the present, but the new blockbuster title releases are noticeably missing this week in theaters. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes released last week, opening to an impressive $73 million grossed revenue stateside. While we’re not expecting anything to come close to Transformers: Age of Extinction this year, there’s still a few gems and key movies to at least keep an eye on. One of the standout films that’s been on our radar this month and may have flown over your heads the last 7 days is recently released drama “Boyhood.”
