Jenny’s Wedding
Rom-com lovers, they’re finally back! Katherine Heigl, Alexis Bledel, Tom Wilkinson, Linda Emond and Grace Gummer have united for the IFC Films latest gem, Jenny’s Wedding. Unfortunately, the new motion picture has a limited release, so it may not be in your city if you’re in a smaller town, but it’s definitely worth digging for this summer. Only two weeks removed from its well-received premier at the Outfest Los Angeles Film Festival earlier in July, the new romantic-comedy effort centers on a family seeing their two daughters get married to spouses. While their older daughter Anne has already tied the knot, young Jenny announces she’s engaged, but not to whom they would initially expect. The LGBT-driven project will unfortunately be one of the more overlooked releases this summer, but it’s something we’re not going to miss out on.
