For our avid book readers, some of you may already know the Stephen King novel, Cell, from 2006. However, the new science fiction horror film, from the same name, arrives to theaters tonight. Those of you like us who haven’t heard too much on this one from reviewers or friends, will also have the ability to get a glimpse through video-on-demand as well.
Starring John Cusack, Samuel L. Jackson, and Isabelle Fuhrman, the new 98-minute presentation centers on a man who’s in search of his son. Following a series of events, including a mysterious cellphone signal that transforms the town into savage killers, the city of New England goes into apocalyptic chaos and an artist is determined to reunite with his son. Unfortunately, this one hasn’t received kind reviews from a few critics, but we’ll wait for a second opinion over the next few days.
