In very rare fashion, a video-game franchise is coming to the big screen this weekend. Blizzard Entertainment, Legendary Pictures and Universal Pictures are looking to strike big with nerds this weekend, as the fantasy title has awkwardly received some negative feedback.
Starring the likes of Travis Fimmel, Paula Patton, Ben Foster, Dominic Cooper, Toby Kebbell, Ben Schnetzer, Robert Kazinsky, and Daniel Wu, the movie has already recouped its $160 million budget after its Los Angeles premiere on Monday and is almost a lock to finish as the highest grosser of the weekend. Those of you familiar with the origins of the online MMO shouldn’t need a synopsis; but if you’re new to the series, just watch the trailer.
