Genius
Last February, attendees at the 66th Berlin International Film Festival, were treated to one of the best indie titles of the year, Genius. The biographical drama film is derived from the same-titled 1978 book and stars Colin Firth, Jude Law, Nicole Kidman, Dominic West and Guy Pearce.
The true story centers on Maxwell Perkins, a renowned editor, who develops a friendship with Thomas Wolfe. The two happen to also develop a romantic affair, as New Yorker Maxwell is gearing up to help his Southerner friend Wolfe publish a latest work.
Whether or not the masses are attracted to this film remains to be scene, but the list of names attached to it should be enough to grab a few second lookers.
