The Human Race
Originally premiered at the 2012 Festival International de Science Fiction de Nantes and released at least years Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival, The Human Race finally goes westward in its official release this weekend. The action-horror-sci flick mirrors its title in a Hunger Games / Survivor-like setting. Being taken out of their everyday lives, a group of people are taken to an undisclosed location for a race to an unknown finish line. Athletic, disabled, collared, young, old, and even homeless are among the 80 chosen to fight in an all our war. We’re not recommending this one as a must see, but if you show up to the theaters late and need something watch instantly, The Human Race could help you burn 90 minutes.
