The Rover
Drama-thriller, The Rover has been seeing a surprisingly great response for its opening weekend Starring Guy Pearce, Robert Pattinson and Scoot McNairy, the film attracted a large audience earlier this month at the Sydney Film Festival to seeing limited NYC and Los Angeles releases. Now that the film has exceeded expectations following its premiere, The Rover finally sees its well-deserved national release tonight. The Australian dystopian movie, centers on a time period in the country 10 years after a global economic collapse. With many people moving away from their home, futuristic western Australia essentially becomes anarchy after lead-character Ray is robbed of all his final possessions – but must risk everything to get back the one thing he has left.
