The Bronze
When we normally think of Melissa Rauch, it’s usually seeing her corky-ness ways on her cult-followed CBS series, The Big Bang Theory. However, the sexy vixen is stepping from the small-screen to the box offices tonight in new R-Rate comedy, The Bronze. In the film, she assumes the role a foul-mouthed former gymnastics medalist (see title), by the name of Hope Annabelle Greggory.
Now forgotten by the masses, Hope returns to her hometown to showoff numerous achievements she collected internationally, until she comes across a promising young gymnast, Maggie Townsend. Threatened by her local celebrity status losing significance, Hope does anything to make sure she’s the only star in town – even if that means sabotaging future Olympic plans. Sony Classic Pictures saw this as an immediate gem on their hands, following its Sundance Film Festival premiere last January, as we expect this one to get notice through word of mouth.
