London Has Fallen
Those of you who remember the 2013 film Olympus Has Fallen are in store for a treat tonight. The sequel to Antoine Fugua’s popular cinematic experience, London Has Fallen finally arrives to theaters tonight. The film has a whopping $100 million budget under its belt and has tapped the likes of Gerard Butler, Aaron Eckhart, and Morgan Freeman, with Alon Moni Aboutboul, Angela Bassett, Robert Forster, Melissa Leo, Radha Mitchell and Charlotte Riley for the star-studded affair.
The action-thriller centers on the world’s most powerful leaders, gathering in London to pay their respects after the unexpected death of the British prime minister. In the midst of the saddening affair, a massive terrorist attack happens to the city, creating immediate chaos. With the President of the United States attending the funeral, a secret service agent is focused on saving the commander in chief from becoming the next victim of an assassination. While the plot seems somewhat interesting, we’re sure movie goers will give this one a second look solely due to who’s been cast.
