X-Men: Days of Future Past

The biggest film to release this year might be Marvel Entertainment’s superhero movie, X-Men: Days of Future Past. From having the biggest budget this year at $200 million, it’s already nearing an opening weekend box office of $100 million for the Memorial Day 3 day affair. The movie features Hollywood’s biggest names in the likes of Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Halle Berry, Anna Paquin and Ellen Page among others. Picking on events right after the 2011 film X-Men: First Class and last years The Wolverine, Days of Future Past plays right into its storyline premise with the title.

For the latest installment of the series, The X-men collective send Wolverine to past to prevent a tragic event, that previously resulted in the doom for both humans and mutants. The movie could be leading to a bigger storyline for the 2016 blockbuster X-Men: Apocalypse (if you stay and watch the obvious bonus scene after the ending credits), we’ll make it an effort to see this movie between now and Monday evening. This is a must-see film this year regardless if you’re a fan of the series or not.
