Cold in July
One of the biggest under the radar films we’ve came across this year is Cold in July. The upcoming Drama-Thriller directed by Jim Mickle star Michael C. Hall, Sam Shepard and Don Johnson has been a huge at the various film festivals over the last few months that led to distribution being picked up by IFC Films. Without ruining too much on the films premise, the stry centers on an accidental murder that turns out to be deeper than originally throughout to be with dirty law enforcement making this more complicated for the murderer. We really miss thrillers like this being in the mainstream and hopefully Cold in July doesn’t go unnoticed this summer.
