Maleficent
Taking a brief break from lending her vocals to the Kung Fu Panda series, the lovely Angelina Jolie returns to physical form in the upcoming dark fantasy adventure film, Maleficent. The $180 million budget offering from Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, brings sleeping beauty to live-action focusing on the eponymous Disney Villainess character in the antagonist perspective form. The main plot focuses on Jolie playing the vindictive fairy that curses infant Princess Aurora portrayed by Elle Fanning. While the film has a very similar storyline and setting as the Lion King without revealing too much, Aurora must return back to reclaim her throne from the evil Maleficent. If you have kids or want to go out for a family outing preferably on a Sunday afternoon when there’s nothing going on, this film is not a bad option.
