Chef
As one of the standout showcasings at SXSW 2014, Jon Favreau’s comedy film Chef finally releases to theaters. Serving as the director, producer, writer and star of the movie, Jon is joined by the likes of Sofía Vergara, John Leguizamo, Scarlett Johansson, Oliver Platt, Bobby Cannavale, Dustin Hoffman and Robert Downey, Jr. Chef will be another one of the previously mentioned movies hitting select films and in our opinion is releasing sadly under the radar. Carl Casper (the Chef) returns to Miami after being fired from a restaurant in Los Angeles and plans to drive across the country in a food truck named El Jefe Cubanos. The journey is not all fun and games however, as he must piece back together his estranged family in the process.
