Secret in Their Eyes
With an A-list cast of Chiwetel Ejiofor, Nicole Kidman, Julia Roberts, Dean Norris, and Michael Kelly, Secret in Their Eyes is guaranteed to attract some movie goers this weekend. Unfortunately, critics haven’t been too favorable or tolerable of the mystery/thriller remake film. Based on its original 2005 novel, this film focuses on a group of FBI investigators that have to solve an internal case that hit close to home. Jess (Julia Roberts) unfortunately discovers that her daughter has been brutally murdered, with no witnesses or weapons present to help an investigation.
Thirteen years later, her FBI partner Ray returns to Los Angeles after a new lead surfaces that could potentially continue the case. This new release has gone under-the-radar by some, but we’re sure the previously mentioned familiar faces will have some giving this one a second look.
