The Last Witch Hunter
One of the more under-the-radar releases this fall just getting its way to the mainstream media, is The Last Witch Hunter. With a recognizable cast in the likes of Vin Diesel, Rose Leslie, and Elijah Wood – the fantasy-action-adventure effort has gained some serious notoriety over the past few days of promotion. We even forgot the film was even on track for releasing until two weeks ago, as some of us even plan to see it if the College Football Games this weekend are a bust.
For whatever reason, the Witch-Hunter reminds us of a video game story line, primarily because of its plot and characters (give us a break). The NYC-based film centers on immortal witch-hunter, who’s only task is to destroy all humanity through of a horrific plague. Diesel assumes the role of Kaulder, who fights to take down the enemy after an unusual evil pairing with a queen demon.
