Nasty Baby
Earlier this year, attendees of the Sundance Film Festival in Utah were treated to dram film, Nasty Baby. Tonight the Sebastián Silva-directed project sees a limited release, so if you’ve been waiting for this film all year – be sure to check around local theaters to make sure they’re showing a screening. However, if you can’t make it to the big screen this weekend, it’ll also see a video-on-demand rollout next weekend for the masses. Starring Silva, Tunde Adebimpe and Kristen Wiig, the 100-minute project focus on a nurse trying to conceive a baby, with the help of her two gay friends.
With noisy neighbors present, the dream of creating a life through the private trio is everything they want, an unfortunate unexpected incident happens – causing them to take a life. Critics have been generous to this film, given its plot and those involved, but we’re not sure how casual movie goers will react to this interesting storyline.
